Meditating On The Word Of God

As the world stands still let’s turn our focus to meditating on the word of God. I know many people are concerned about doing it the “right way” but there is no wrong or right way to meditate. Do what works for you and enjoy the benefit of meditating on the word of God.

During this season we can take our time (10 or 30 minutes or an hour) during our devotions and meditate on a scripture or a whole chapter. I usually meditate on one or two verses, and today I meditated on this beautiful passage;

“But whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
    and who meditates on his law day and night.
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
    which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
    whatever they do prospers” Psalm1:2-3

These verses remind us how important it is to meditate on the word of God and the benefits of doing so. In this uncertain world, it is vital to lean on things that breed stability in your life. As a Christian, the word of God gives certainty and comfort.

Don’t lose hope. Hang on to the word of God; meditate on it today and see the faithfulness of God. May God’s blessings and mercies continue to guide, keep, and prosper you in all that you do today and forevermore.

Thank you for reading and stay blessed.
